Introduction
Large-Section Square Steel are heavy, solid square bars (rod) with large across-flats dimensions manufactured for demanding structural, mechanical and fabrication applications. Offered in hot-rolled, forged, normalized, quenched & tempered or precision-ground conditions, these bars are ideal as shaft/column blanks, heavy pins, coupling hubs, large forgings feedstock, machine bases and structural dowels where high section area and simple geometry are required.

Standards: ASTM A29 / A108, EN 10083 / EN 10058, JIS and customer specifications.
Materials / Grades: Carbon steels (e.g., C45 / C55), medium-carbon & alloy steels (e.g., 1045, 4140 / 42CrMo), structural grades (S355, S420), stainless steels (304/316, duplex) and special alloys on request.
Manufacture: Hot-rolled long bars, forged & straightened, hot-upset & cooled, cold-drawn (precision), or turned & ground for tight tolerances. Forged billets available for very large sections.
