With the rapid development of the automotive industry, the production of automobiles continues to increase. However, various defects generated in the stamping production process of automotive components result in scrapping of parts, which not only increases manufacturing costs but also causes waste of raw materials. This article analyzes various defects that occur in the production process of automotive stamping parts, and finds that wrinkling and cracking problems cause the majority of scrapped parts. By solving the problems of cracking and wrinkling, the scrapping rate of parts can be effectively reduced and production costs can be saved.
